What to wear when visiting Temple here in Bangkok

If your priority is to see temples when you visit Bangkok you’re definitely not going to be disappointed. Bangkok has a lot of temples to offer. The most famous of them is the Grand Palace and the Royal Temple of the Emerald Buddha. One thing you need to be aware of, when you’re visiting this temple, is the strict dress code. If you’re visiting any temple in Bangkok you’re expected to dress respectfully. They are very strict when it comes to dressing code.

One of the main reasons for the dress code at the Royal Temple is that the Grand Palace and grounds are still in use by the Royal Family on ceremonial occasions. You should try and be aware and prepared but don’t worry too much. You will be ushered to a changing area and given a more respectable local garment to hire. If you don’t want this to happen then just pay attention to the dress code.

Here are some lists of dresses that are allowed & not.

       1. Short skirts and shorts are not allowed make sure that should always wear full length or like below the knee.

       2. Any dress that has holes and ripped jeans are not allowed.

      3. Any top without sleeves is not allowed. Its A temple no need to show too much skin so we have to respect it.

     4. Tee – shirts is allowed. Wear Tee's that will make you feel comfortable. Dress above the knee is not allowed, it should be below the knee.

     5. Sweatshirts or sweatpants is okay but if its too warm then its ideal :)

    6. You can wear sandals and flip-flops that makes you comfortable or wear shoes your comfort so you can walk around.

Every time you travel, I suggested that you should consider wearing an outfit not just for the sake of what they call OOTD but of course wear what makes you not just gorgeous/cool but comfortable as well so you can enjoy your escapade.

Hope you had a great time with my insights.
